[How did you get into comics?]
After graduating I went to Wizard World Chicago with some friends and ended up meeting a few people in the industry who stopped by my table or knew me online. I got some great hook-ups from Christina Strain and Chris Copeland and since then have had steady work.

[How did you learn to draw?]
Years of dedication, patience and hard work.

[Are you available for freelance?]
Yes! Just email me at frozenlilacs@gmail.com.

[Do you take requests?]
No. I have no motivation to draw for free, sorry.

[Do you do art trades?]
No. I don't do art trades, I don't have time. Sorry!

[Do you take commissions and what is your pricing?]
I no longer take commissions, I don't have the time!

[Can I use your art for my non-profit group (MSN, Yahoo, PSP)?]
No, I no longer allow my art to be used for these.

[Can I reference some of your art/poses?]
Sure, as long as once again you credit me and link back to http://www.frozenlilacs.com. Please don't use my images to trace from.

[Can I use your art for a website layout/wallpaper?]

Yes, as long as you keep edits of the original artwork to a minimum, and please credit me and link back to me at http://www.frozenlilacs.com. Also, when you're finished please send me the link, I'd love to see what you do with my work!

Regarding wallpapers, I have a section devoted to desktops for your computer of my artwork, so please check it out!

[Can I color your line art?]
Please do! But you must credit me for the line work, and link back to http://www.frozenlilacs.com.

[Link exchange?]
I don't do link exchanges anymore, sorry. I just don't have the time to maintain them and I feel that my links section should reflect the art of those who I admire.

[What programs do you use?]
Digital work: I mostly use Adobe Photoshop, but I have been known to work in Corel Painter IX as well. Photoshop handles detail really nicely, but if you're looking for easier ways to paint/blend then Painter is probably the way to go. For creating animated icons, I use Adobe ImageReady.

Web sites: I create the layout design in Adobe Photoshop, import it into Adobe ImageReady to splice up the images, then import it into Macromedia Dreamweaver MX. The hardest part is getting a design that I like in Photoshop. I use ImageReady to splice up the images of my layout/rollovers and other effects, which automatically puts the images into a manageable table layout so I don't have to line them up when I get to Dreamweaver. I also use Dreamweaver for FTP.

[What tools do you use?]
Digital: Wacom Intuos 2 Graphics Tablet (6x8)

Traditional Art: mechanical pencils, Sakura micron pens, Prismacolor pencils and markers

[Do you have any tutorials?]
At the moment I don't have any tutorials. If you'd like to see a tutorial from me, please feel free to email me and let me know what you'd be interested in seeing in a tutorial on.

[Can you critique something for me/show me how to do something?]

Sorry, I'm not the best teacher when it comes to these things. There are plenty of helpful tutorials online. If you want to know how I do something in particular you're free to email me, but I'm not going to answer things like "how do you color!?" Also, you can email me and let me know what I should make a tutorial on if you want to see a tutorial from me.

You can also visit sites like eatpoo.com and conceptart.org for helpful and constructive critiques.
